Picking up your puppy.
We ship puppies from Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GPS) in Spartanburg SC & Charlotte Douglas Airport in NC(CLT). Expect your puppy to be a little scared when you pick her/him up. They usually always calm down & are back to being their normal self within a day, but some are very active at first. They just need time & a lot of special attention. They are insecure becasue they have been taken away from their security zone-their littermates. They must go through this whether they are picked up or shipped. They are pretty resilient & once they realize their security is you, they are happy & content again. You may consider bringing a towl or handy wipes; the pupy may be needed to be cleaned up a litte before the drive home. Not all pups handle the trip perfectly. I will send all paperwork/packet after the next day I ship the puppy. Airlines will not allow anything but food & water to be shipped with puppy. Not even toys~ :-(
Locally (5 Hours Radius)
We always prefer for you to pick up your little ones in person, but we realize that is not always possible. If that’s the case, I will personally deliver the pup(s) to your front door ($0.75 a mile). The delivery cost must be paid before I drive the pup to your home. I have delivered puppies to Atlanta, GA~Knoxville, TN,~Raleigh, NC,~Charlotte, NC~Columbus SC~ and more!
Long Distance
So you live in another state and driving is just not an option to scoop up your puppy don't worry we ship all the time. I handle all arrangements. We have to make sure you are close to a major airport that I can ship your puppy to you.
We are comfortable shipping a puppy to you. We have done this many times before (We have shipped to Los Angeles CA, Miami & Orlando FL, New York, NY, Chicago IL, Baltimore MD, Dallas & Houston TX, & many more places). In some cases the flight takes less time than a road trip and can be less stressful on the puppy. A 12 hour road trip can cause a car sick puppy, compared to a 4 hour flight with air conditioning & heater. The puppies must be at least 8 weeks old before they can be boarded on a plane.
The Chihuahua 's/Yorkshire Terriers Puppies that are going to weigh less than 4 pounds full grown are not shipped by cargo but can be shiped with me as baggage. My ticket and time will be expense that you should pay.
Here is the pricing for shipping: $350 to anywhere in the US (Husky only) $450 to anywhere in Canada (Husky only) $300 to anywhere in the US (Chihuahua, & Yorkshire Terriers) *We don't ship Chihuahua's, & Yorkshire Terriers to Canada.
When a puppy is shipped there are 3 things that must be purchased with the expenses going to you; the pet buyer. This is in addition to the purchase price of the puppy itself:
1. A medium/small size kennel that you get to keep and can even use for a period of time to house train your puppy.
2. A health certificate of travel is required for your puppy to be able to fly. This certificate of travel is giving after a physical exam is completed by a certified vet stating that the puppy is in excellent health condition.
3. Lastly the airfare. $250 (Husky to US) or $350 (Husky to Canada) or $200 (Chihuahua, & Yorkshire Terrier to US)
You will need to check with your airport on where for sure to pick up the pup, either baggage claim or cargo. Usually it is cargo, but I have had a few buyers not call prior and panic when pup was not there...the pup was actually at the bargain claims so please call to save yourself the stress. If there is a problem when picking up the pup, please check with the airline for assistance with the confirmation or information you are given because you most likely will get quicker and better results being that you will be at the airport and have more of an access with airline. Please check with airlines before calling me, if there is something that should occur so that you can get the information first hand.
Once the pup is dropped off at the airport, it is out of my hands and I have no control.
You will need 2 forms of identification when picking up the pup. The name on the paperwork is who they will only release the pup to. If someone else is picking up the pup, you will need to let me know the name so that I can make note on the paperwork. If you do not, then most likely the airline will not release the pup. This also if there has been a change. This is all for your own protection, so that someone else cannot claim your pup.
What Now?
If you will like shipping please send me an email with the name of the 2 closet airports. We have to make sure we can get your puppy to you. We at "The Puppy World" ship the puppy with the only airline with air conditioning & heater for the puppies. This means we can ship the puppy no matter the temperature hot or cold. This will also make the puppy much more comfortable & happy. :-)
~I hope this information helped you out greatly and answered any questions you may have!~
